The final was a bit delayed by rain, but No. 2 seed Caroline Wozniacki was able to close out her win against Elena Vesnina to win the Pilot Pen Tennis presented by Schick in New Haven, which is the sixth title of her career.
Wozniacki, who was the defending champion, wasn't placed in any trouble by Vesnina, and easily won the match with a score of 62 64, winning her third title of the year.
The head-to-head result is now 3-1 to Wozniacki between her and Vesnina.
