No. 1, 2, 4, 6 seeds advance to semis in Memphis

Top seed Caroline Wozniacki, No. 2 seed Victoria Azarenka, No. 4 seed Anne Keothavong, and No. 6 seed Sabine Lisicki reserved a spot in the semis, after only two of the four won their matches in straight sets.

Wozniacki was not one of the straight sets winners on Thursday, as she won to qualifier Michaella Krajicek, 26 63 63. She will face Keothavong, who ousted No. 5 seed Marina Erakovic in three sets, 62 16 62.

On the bottom half of the draw, Azarenka won her match in straight sets to No. 8 seed Pauline Parmentier, 64 62. The Belarussian will face Lisicki, who demolished No. 3 seed Lucie Safarova, 63 64.
